Getting started

TokRouter brings several AI models together in one workspace: a chat interface and an API compatible with the tools you already use.

1. Create your account

Sign up, then pick a plan suited to your usage. Some models may be accessible on the free tier; a subscription unlocks the full catalog and the API.

Your balance is visible in Settings. Credits included in your plan and top-ups share the same balance.

2. Start a conversation

Open Chat, write your message, then pick the model shown just above the composer. Send with the Send button or Enter. Use Shift + Enter for a line break.

You can attach files: TokRouter extracts their content when the format is supported and adds it to the message context.

3. Switch models on every message

The model you pick applies to the message you're about to send. You can start with a fast model, then switch to a reasoning model to go deeper, without recreating the conversation.

Every response keeps track of which model produced it, so the history stays readable.

4. Browse the catalog

The Models page lists API identifiers, available context, categories, and indicative pricing. It's the best place to check the exact name to use in your application.
